On the 19th of March at 6pm, we will be hosting a special event here at the Functional Gut Clinic! We are pleased to be showcasing the PelviPower Training – a unique and innovative therapy for improving the strength of pelvic floor muscles and reducing complex pelvic pain.

If you are a medical professional, we would be delighted if you would join us at the event, and discover how this new technology could help to improve your patients’ quality of life.

PelviPower Benefits

The training helps alleviate symptoms often caused by the modern working environment, as many people spend a huge amount of time in a seated position, which can weaken our core muscles over time. This often means that our pelvic floor muscles do not get the exercise they need, and this may lead to a host of medical conditions.

Incontinence, bladder weakness, and erectile dysfunction can all be linked to a neglected pelvic floor.

The PelviPower Training also provides effective non-invasive therapy for patients with pelvic trauma, core weakness, tissue toning, backache, and helps postnatal recovery.

The PelviPower Training addresses this problem through a combination of magnetic field therapy and biofeedback. A patient simply sits in the chair for around 15 minutes, 1 to 5 times per week, and the magnetic forces within the seat do the rest. For most people 3 to 12 weeks is enough for a noticeable improvement in symptoms.

Magnetic fields stimulate the pelvic floor muscles while a micro-massage effect improves circulation throughout the lower lumbar region. The display monitor then gives valuable biofeedback to each patient, explaining how the therapy is progressing.

PelviPower Training is ideally suited to those individuals who are currently unable to partake in traditional pelvic floor exercises, while also being non-invasive and pain-free.

The Trainer Maria Elliott is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a Women’s Health Consultant. With over 30 years’ experience of physiotherapy practice, she is well-versed in restoring the physical and mental well-being of patients and also founded the Mummy MOT providing a unique and highly effective postnatal recovery programme focused on the pelvic area.

Maria is highly trained in manual therapy for the abdominal and pelvic regions and now uses the PelviPower Training to complement her techniques. She has joined us at the Functional Gut Clinic to offer this exciting new therapy to our patients.

”For patients suffering from ongoing urinary or faecal incontinence then I recommend our new cutting-edge PelviPower Training. It’s the first in the UK and has already had absolutely staggeringly great (and painless!) results!”

The Launch Event In collaboration with Maria, the showcase event for the PelviPower Training takes place on Monday the 19th of March between 6pm and 9pm. There will be workstations where guests can try the chair, along with the opportunity to sample our other services – functional gut testing and breath testing will be demonstrated.

The event is a perfect opportunity for consultants and physios to learn more about the PelviPower Training and assess how it can benefit their patients. We also anticipate that other product-related suppliers and members of the press will be in attendance.

Drinks and light snacks will be available free of charge – no need to worry about missing a meal!
