Edyta gained her master’s in Poland in 2000. She came to the UK in 2004 and started her journey as a physiotherapist at Southampton University Hospital.
She also works at the Royal London Hospital and has specialised in pelvic floor disorders for more than 10 years.
She treats patients with bowel and bladder incontinence, urgency, prolapse symptoms, pelvic floor dyssynergia, , chronic pelvic pain (including levator ani syndrome) and post-natal diastasis recti.
Edyta understands the implications of surgical scars on the body and uses ScarWork techniques to improve tightness, restrictions, sensitivity and pain, and to stimulate healing.
Edyta strongly believes in a holistic approach to treating pelvic floor dysfunction, and a year ago started training in visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute. Pelvic floor dysfunction is not widely discussed between friends and family, which is why most of Edyta’s patients come to her after years of suffering in silence. She feels privileged to be able to help those who are brave enough to share with her their most intimate conditions.

Full list of symptomsAll of the staff were friendly and nice. When I had questions the staff checked on me and made me feel supported. Lovely experience. Everyone had smiles, and they took time to explain and make me feel welcome.
