What is the study?
We’re trialling a device that clips to the ear and stimulates the vagus nerve which may help manage symptoms of IBS.
Who can participate?
We’re looking for individuals who:
Males or non-pregnant females with IBS
18 - 70 years old
Live in the UK, able to come into clinic (Manchester only)
Reasonable travel expenses will be covered, and you will be compensated for your time.
What is involved?
As a participant we have designed the study so it’s as easy as possible for you to take part.
You’ll be asked to:
1 in person visits to our Manchester clinic
2 phone call appointments
Complete a daily diary – for 6 weeks
Try the device at home daily- for 4 weeks
