Dr Eleni Athanasakos is dedicated to providing specialised diagnostic investigations for children with bowel symptoms, particularly constipation, withholding, and faecal incontinence.
Eleni engages in research activities such as contributing to national guidelines and advancing the area. She has seen over 500 children in the NHS, at the Royal London Hospital, helping them overcome their bowel-related challenges within the team. Emphasis is also placed on retraining including biofeedback and toileting regimes. Eleni’s philosophy is to provide some answers to help guide future care and improve quality of life.
