Mylto graduated from the University of Sunderland with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and went on to complete a master’s in Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry at Loughborough University.

She joined us here at the Functional Gut Clinic team in June 2018 and began training as a clinical gastrointestinal physiologist through the Accredited Scientific Practice in GI Physiology, which she completed in September 2019.  She conducts a wide range of gastrointestinal physiology tests for both private and NHS patients, including hydrogen and methane breath testing, oesophageal manometry, and 24‑hour pH impedance studies.

Her academic background and laboratory experience give Mylto a wide range of experience in both the clinical setting and in research.
