Sarah is a Clinical Gastrointestinal Physiologist who is accredited by the association of gastrointestinal physiologists.

 

She joined Functional Gut in 2018 after completing an Integrated Masters in Biochemistry at the University of Liverpool and undertook the Accredited Scientist Programme in Upper GI Physiology at Newcastle University and the National School of Healthcare Science.

 

Sarah is actively involved in many research projects here at Functional Gut and is currently working towards a PhD in Medical Sciences investigating the impact of iron supplements on the gastrointestinal tract.
