What is the study?
We’re looking for people suffering from acid reflux to take part in a research study, for people experiencing reflux symptoms such as heartburn and regurgitation.
We’re conducting a trial comparing two different treatment approaches for reflux symptoms.
Who can participate?
We’re looking for individuals who:
Are male or non-pregnant female, aged 18-70.
Live in the UK and are able to come to the clinic in-person.
Are happy to take our tests in-clinic and give samples as explained by our team.
Are able to attend in person visits to our Manchester or London clinics.
Can carry out 6 appointments over a 6-month period, 3 clinic visits and 3 remote appointments.
Not previously been prescribed reflux medication.
Reasonable travel expenses will be covered, and you will be compensated for your time.
What is involved?
As a participant we have designed the study so it’s as easy as possible for you to take part.
You’ll be asked to:
Attend 3 in person visits to our Manchester or London Clinics & 3 virtual appointments.
Complete a symptom diary – for 5 weeks.
